Sakaiah Reign

Is a multitalented fiction writer and poet . She began my career as a poet in 2017 when she made her way to blog talk radio’s hottest show, “Wolf Hours in Da Den”. Y Sakaiah started off with the name Inked Lips. Her most acclaimed written pieces are “What was a Black Woman's Truth?” “What was a Black Man's Truth?” , “Purple” and “Love is Not Love Remix”.

She later became a co-host on Wolf Hours in Da Den. For the past four years she has written her book Meeka Chronicles: Love Lies & Broken Hearts to explore the depths of her pen from the usual focus of genre.

Writing the Malone family and the characters to come in other projects has made her see her creativity for what it is.

The woman she is has a mind filled with tangled paragraphs that are hard to speak out-loud.

Sakaiah writes to bring the tales of passion, fury, wonderment, the outright crazy, and battle wounds to life. She writes to give a voice to those who can no longer speak for themselves. She writes to bring peace, to give the characters in my head a home, so they aren't locked up and forgotten. She writes to unlock hidden meanings that life has in store, to have fun. She writes to bring light to her darkest fears. She writes to break hearts, give hope, love, shock, scare, and stir up conversations. She writes to test the limits of this pen, watching how far the black ink will take her. She writes to feed hungry pains. She writes to soothe negative thoughts that come to play and deter me. She writes to admire the curve of a letter being formed into a paragraph.

That’s who Sakaiah Reign is.
